HOMEMemorial For Bob Green
Bob Green was my birth father. I am currently searching for his brother William Green, aka Bill Green. Bill was last known to have been living in Innisfil Ontario. Or around the Barrie Area. Bill's wife's name is 'Betsy'. They had at least two daughters that I know of, Christine, and Lynda. If you know Christine Green, Lynda Green... or if you are them - please contact me, Tammy at me@tammymitchell.com It would be nice to connect and share!

His friends called him Bob.
Neither Shane nor I, knew our biological
father. One of many sad realities resulting from this terrible
accident. I've been searching for relatives and friends of
Bob's. My search has been slow yet rewarding. All the people I
have met who knew him have reminisced with a smile on their face.
I've heard thoughtful stories of fond memories. How he loved late night
swims at the Quarry. He had a boxer named Butch, he called his
'baby'. He loved to listen to CCR & the
Beatles. 'Hey Jude' was one of his faves.

“He
was always laughing, if
you were around him you
couldn't help but feel good!“

I've come to know that Bob was a fun loving
friend & wonderful husband. I'm aware of Bob's role in what
was then one of the worst accidents in Canadian history. In 1970 as a society, we didn't know a lot about the dangers of drinking
and driving. Most cars didn't even have seat belts!
My
thoughts are, everyone who lost their lives or
was affected by this tragedy, was a 'victim of the times'.
I'm comforted to know that as a society we've since
grown. Tam m y
